A portrait of men and their common physical struggle emerges from a day in the lives of Kashmiri construction workers. Despite their differences in status, experience, skills, age, and language, two dozen strangers must learn to work together and under immense time and money pressures to finish a very hard and dangerous job.
Never aired before, this short documentary was initially conceived as a test-run for working with a key non-actor (Ali Muhammad Dar) and a key location in what later became ZERO BRIDGE. This was shot standard-def in one day on the DVX-100B. Subtitling by Hilal Langoo.
